Ingredients
Wheat flour- 11/2 cupChana sattu/roasted chickpeas powder-1 cup
Chopped onion-2 tablespoons
Chopped ginger-2 tablespoons
Garlic paste -1 tablespoons
Chopped green chilli - 2 tablespoons
Chopped coriander leaves -2 to 3 tablespoons
Kalonji seed-1/4 tablespoon
Ajwain -1/4 tablespoon
Achar masala-1/2 tablespoons
Lemon juice -1/2 tablespoons
Salt to taste
Mustard oil -2 tablespoons
Cooking oil for frying
Method,-
- Take a large bowl add wheat flour and knead the dough using enough water.
- Keep aside for rest for 30 minutes.
- Now take another large bowl,add chana sattu,salt, chopped onion, chopped green chilli, garlic-paste, chopped ginger chopped, coriander leaves kalonji ,ajwain,achar masala,lemon juice and mix it.
- Now add 2 tablespoons mustard oil and a little bit of water and mix it well.
- Divide the dough into equal portions and make a small ball.
- Roll out ball into like puri.
- Place some sattu stuffing in center of puri.
- Seal all the edges and make again round shape ball.
- Prepare all the litti in the same away.
- Further Take a pan add water and boil it
- When water begins to boil ,add litti one by one in it.
- Cooked until litti float on the top of water or 5 to 6 minutes.
- Drain it from water and keep it separately under fan to cool it .
- When litti gets dry then we can fry it.
- Heat oil in kadahi add litti and fry until it get golden brown and crispy.
- Remove it from oil .
- Serve it with bagun bharta
