How to make matar paneer step by step+video



Heat oil in kadahi ,add bay leaf, cardamom, cinnamon,cloves ,cumin seed and stir it.

When they start to crackle and give aroma then add chopped onions and saute until it gets light brown.
 
Now add garlic paste and saute until raw aroma of garlic goes away.

Add chopped tomatoes and saute until it gets soft .

 Then add tomatoes puree and stir it for one minute.

Now add ginger paste and green chilli and stir it

Further add turmeric powder,red chilli powder, Kashmiri red chilli powder, cumin powder, black pepper powder, coriander powder, kasuri methi,salt,and a little bit of water and saute until oil separate from spices

Add peas and saute until they get soft.

Then add kasuri methi and stir it.

Drizzle 2 tablespoon oil on tawa and heat it.put panner cubes on tawa .

Sprinkle some salt and red chilli powder on paneer  cubes and Cook it for 2 to 3 minutes.

Then add fried paneer cubes in gravy and cook it for 3 to 4 minutes  .if gravy is thick then add water and wait till the gravy starts boiling

Paneer-300 gram

Cinnamon-1 stick
Cardamom 2 to 3
Cumin seeds-1/2 tablespoon
Green chilli-2
Chopped onions-3

Tomatoes puree-1/2 cup
Ginger paste 11/2 tablespoon
Garlic paste 11/2 tablespoon
Cumin powder-11/2 tablespoon
Black pepper-1/2 tablespoon
Coriander powder-1 tablespoon
Turmeric powder-1/4tablespoon
Red chilli powder-1/2 tablespoon
Kashmiri red chilli powder-1/2 tablespoon
Kasuri methi-11/2 tablespoon
Salt as required
Oil for cooking

Method


  • Cut paneer into cubes.
  • Drizzle 2 tablespoon oil on tawa and heat it.put panner cubes on tawa .
  • Sprinkle some salt and red chilli powder on paneer  cubes and Cook it for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Remove paneer cubes from tawa and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in kadahi ,add bay leaf, cardamom, cinnamon,cloves ,cumin seed when they start to crackle and give aroma then add chopped onions and saute until it gets light brown.
  • Now add garlic paste, ginger paste and stir it for 2 minutes.

Ingredient-

Besan/Gram flour/chickpea flour -1/2 cup
Rava-1 cup
Wheat flour-1/2 cup
Beroot-1 (Small)
Red chilli powder-1/2 tablespoon
Cumin seeds-1/2 teaspoon
Chopped green chili-1 tbsp
Salt as required
Oil for frying

Method-

  • Wash and peel beetroot.Cut beetroot into pieces.
  • Take a grinder, add beetroot pieces,green chilli,ginger ,water,and grind it to make puree.
  • Take a bowl add  beetroot puree, besan ,salt ,wheat flour cumin seed, rava,red chilli powder and add water to make batter .The batter should  not be more thick or thin.
  • Heat oil in tawa,spread evenly. Pour a ladleful batter on tawa and  spread it to make  round shape chilla .
  • When chilla gets cooked on one side. cook other side  by flip it using spatula and drizzling some oil.
  • Remove it from tawa.
  • Serve it.

Palak pakoda is healthy and crispy snacks, Many people do not like to eat spinach , specially kids, you can make palak pakoda for your kids.it is served with tea or tomato ketchup.These are deep-fried fritters.In winter season, my family like to eat many varities of fritters.

Ingredient-
Large palak/spinach leaves-10 to 12
Besan flour/gram flour-1cup
Garlic paste- 1 tablespoon
Green chilli paste-1/4 tablespoon
Turmeric powder -1/2 tablespoon
Red chilli powder -1/2 teaspoon
Asafoetida-a pinch
Kalonji seed-1/4 teaspoon
Salt as required
Oil for frying

Method-


  • Wash the spinach leaves and wipe them or keep it in strainer for some time.
  • Cut the stalk of spinach leaves.
  • Take a bowl, add besan,red chilli powder, asafoetida turmeric powder green chilli paste ,kalonji,garlic paste,salt as required a little bit of water and mix them well and make a thick batter.
  • Dip a spinach/palak leaves in batter and coated it from both sides of leaves .
  • Heat oil in kadahi ,drop them in hot oil  and fry until they get crispy golden brown.
  • You can fry 4 to 5 pakoda at the same time .
  • Drain it from oil.
  • Serve it with chutney.

Ingredients-:


Potato cubes, cauliflower florets, chopped carrot green peas,ginger,green coriander,
green chilli, chopped onion, garlic paste,chopped tomatoes.

Method-



1- :Heat oil in pressure cookers,add cumin  seed,bay leaf,cloves, cardamom, cinnamon
when they start to give aroma then add chopped onion and saute until they get golden brown colour .Now add garic paste and stir it for a minute.

2-: Add chopped tomatoes and saute until it gets soft.Now add potato cubes,green peas, ginger paste ,cauliflower floret,chopped carrot,green chilli and saute until vegetables gets soft.                             


3:-Add coriander powder,cumin powder,
black pepper powder,red chilli powder, turmeric powder,kasuri methi,salt,a little bit of water .



4-:Saute it for 2 to 3 minutes.



5-:Add 2 tablespoons curd and stir it for few minutes.
6-:Wash rice through running water 3 to 4 time. Soak rice in water for 15 minute then drain it and add rice in it.


7- :Add rice and stir it for 2 to 3 minutes..


8- :Add enough water in it and close the pressure cookers lid and wait until you get 1 to 2 whistles. Let it rest for 5-7 minutes then open lid.

Ready to serve with riata.
