Arbi leaves chilla


Ingredients-

Besan/Gram flour/chickpea flour -1cup
Rava-1 cup
Chopped arbi leaves-3 to 4(remove mid vein of leaves)
Chopped onion-1/4cup
Chopped ginger -2 tablespoon
Red chilli powder-1tbsp
Chopped green chili-1 tbsp
Chopped tomatoes-1(optional)
Turmeric powder-1/2 tbsp
Salt as required
Oil for frying

Method-

  • Take a bowl add chopped arbi leaves, chopped ginger ,chopped onion, chopped green chilli, besan, salt ,turmeric ,rava, red chili powder and mix it. Add water in it to make batter .The batter should  not be more thick or thin.
  • Heat oil in tawa, spread evenly. Pour the ladle ful batter and  spread it to make  round shape .
  • When chilla gets cooked on one side. cook other side  by flip it using spatula and drizzling some oil and cook until chilla gets crispy and golden brown.
  • remove it from plate
  • Serve it

Dal paratha







                               

Ingredients-

Chana dal - 11/2 cup
Red chilli 3 to 4 (whole)
Cumin seeds -1/2 tablespoon
Turmeric powder-1/2 tablespoon
Salt as required
Oil for cooking
Wheat flour -2 cup

Method-


  • Take a large bowl add wheat flour ,salt,and a little bit of oil mix it .Knead  soft dough with the help of water.
  • Keep aside for 15 minutes.
  • Wash chana dal through running water.
  • Soak chana dal in warm water for 60 minutes.
  • Take a pressure cooker,add chana dal, turmeric powder,salt,and water  and cook it until you get 5 to 6 whistle.
  • Remove the lid and mash chana dal with help of masher.
  • Make sure chana dal should be over cook.
  • Heat oil in kadahi add cumin seeds ,red chilli and allow them to supltter then add chana dal.
  • Stir it until all  water of chana dal get evoprate and it become  dry .
  • Keep it aside for cool.
  • Divide dough into equal portion and make a ball.
  • Make a hole in middle of ball with help of fingers.
  • Stuff chana dal and press it then seal it all edges and  make a again ball.
  • Roll out like chapati with help of dry flour.
  • Heat tawa and add paratha and cook it from both sides then pour a tablespoon oil  spread it on paratha and cook it until you get brown spot and flip it and cook other side by pouring oil.
  • Remove it from tawa
  • Serve it with masala vale sabzi

Rava dosa

Ingredients-

Rava-1cup
Plain flour-1/2 cup
Rice flour-1 cup
Finely chopped onions -2 to 3 tablespoons
Finely chopped green chili-2 tablespoon
Finely chopped ginger-1/2 tablespoon
Finely chopped coriander leaves-2 to 3 tablespoons
Cumin seed-1/2 tablespoons
Salt to taste
Water as required
Oil as required

METHOD

  • Take a bowl add rava/semolina,rice flour, plain flour,cumin seed,salt then add chopped onion, chopped green chili, chopped ginger,chopped coriander leaves and add water to make thin batter.
  • Batter consistency should be thin and watery. Keep aside for 20 minutes.
  • Heat the tava and add oil and spread it then pour batter on tawa using ladle to making round shape dosa .
  • Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of oil from top
  • When base side get crispy then flip it
  • Remove it from tava
  • Serve it with sambhar and chutney

Banana chips

Ingredients-
Raw banana- 4
Salt as required
Oil for frying
Turmeric powder -1/2 tablespoon
Red chilli powder -1/2 tablespoon
Chat masala 1/2 tablespoon
Method-
Cut the both side  top of banana.
Peel the banana with help of knife.
Cut the thin round slices with the help of chips cutter or slicer.
Fry it immediately other wise slices of banana turns black.
Take a bowl add 1/2 tablespoon salt in water(1/2 cup) and dissolve it then add 1/4 turmeric powder and mix it.
Heat oil in kadahi add slice of banana and fry it on medium flame then add salty water and fry  until it get golden brown and crispy.
Remove it from oil and add chat masala,red chilli powder and mix it. You can make banana chips in many flavor by adding tomato powder,mint powder.
Serve it with tea.

Onions paratha


Finely chopped onion-1/2 cup
Chopped green chilli -2 tablespoon
Chopped coriander-1/2 cup
Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon
Kalonji seed-1/2 tablespoons
Blacksalt 1/2 tablespoon
Wheat flour-2 cup
Water as required
Salt as required
Oil
Method-
  • Take a large bowl add wheat flour ,chopped onions,chopped green chilli,chopped coriander, kalonji seed ,black salt, salt as required, red chilli powder,oil(3 to 4 tablespoons) and mix it well.
  • Knead the soft dough with the help of  water,divide into dough in equal portion and make a ball and roll it like chapati by using roll pin
  • Heat nonstick tawa ,put chapati on tawa and  when bubbles are starting to appear then pour oil on it and cooked untill it get golden brown then flip it and cook other side by applying oil.
  • Remove it from tawa
  • Serve with chutney or riata

Chana dal pakoda

Ingredient-
Chana dal -2 cup (soak in water for 4 to 5 hours)
Garlic paste-1tbsp
Green chilli 2-3(chopped)
Turmeric powder -1/2 tablespoon
Red chilli powder -1/2 teaspoon
Ginger 1 piece(chopped)
Chopped coriander 3-4  tablespoon
Roasted cumin powder-1/2 tablespoon
 Salt as required
Oil for frying
Method-
  • Soak chana dal for 3 to 4 hours or overnight
  • Drain it from water.
  • Grind soaked chana dal-(1/2 cup) coarsely in grinder and remove it from grinder.
  • Don't add too much water during grinding .
  • To make crispy pakoda ,it must be grinded coarsely.
  • Take a bowl add grinded chana dal  chopped green chilli, garlic paste,  chopped coriander chopped ginger, turmeric powder,red chilli powder, cumin powder ,salt and mix it properly.
  • Heat oil in kadahi and  drop a tablespoon batter in medium hot oil and fry until it  becomes golden brown color and crispy and drain it from oil.Do the same process with the remaining mixture.
  • Serve it with tomatoes sauce or tea
