Ingredients-
Moong dal-2cup
Rice-1 cup
Ginger paste-1 tbsp
Garlic paste-1 tbsp
Red chili powder-1tbsp
Chopped green chili -2tbsp
Chopped onion-1/2 cup
Turmeric powder-1/2 tbsp
Salt as required
Oil for frying-
Method-
- Soak moong dal and rice overnight, grind both in mixture. Be careful at the time of grinding of soaked moong dal and rice. A less amount of water should be added, remove in bowl
- Mix all ingredients like Ginger paste, garlic paste red chili powder turmeric powder chopped onion chopped green chili salt with moong dal and rice paste and mix well
- Make sure the batter consistency should be not thicker or thin, if batter consistency is thicker then you can use water
- Heat a tawa and put some oil into it, now pour one ladle full of batter and spread it in round shape
- Once the chila is cooked and is brown on one side
- Flip it and cook it on other side and drizzle few drop of oil if required
- Remove it from tawa
- Serve it with curd or tomato ketchup
